Undo******** (it’s very hard to) (March ’25)
25 x 25 inch oil pastel & hand-stamped artist book
About queerness; once you you accept it as part of yourself, it’s nearly impossible to shake it away, even if it may be in your emotional wellbeing’s best interest to do so (interpret this vague explanation how you please. I don’t want my experience to shape how you experience this work!!!)
“it’s like putting toothpaste back in the tube or gluing ground hair back to the scalp or erasing an ink-written letter or praying on rotten raspberries to resurrect or taping a twig back onto a winter-sullen tree or recovering seventeen-no-sunscreen-summers skin or boomeranging a bullet of a revolver or reining back in the aural ripples of a yelping fawn”
Deeeeeeeeeesign (all sorts & kinds over the years)
For more zine/book-focused design, go find that page on this site. This section is mostly just posters & album covers & press kit stuff & merch/buttons & etc. (but there are also a few zine spreads in here)
“How To Write A Song” (May ’25)
“To write a song, you could……#1 Submerge in the soil, follow a worm’s trail and then #2 Notice yr rooted neighbors, the ones with leaves and flowers. #3 Don’t forget to thank their busy postman, the ^ very tiny bee. #4 Even tiny-r are the herds of plankton, the microscopics eaten by the #5 Macroscopic mighty whale. Try to figure out how many objects/things/stuff-long a blue whale is… Or how big their hearts are… Or how they learned to sing… Use yr brain and don’t look it up. Instead, #6 Look up, at the moon. (Way bigger than a whale). Watch its phases and realize how rhythmic the circulation is… But listen, #7 There’s no sound up here, so get in the earth-going rocket (very futuristic). #8 Leave the zero gravity and get to elevation zero. Don’t forget there are other numbers. #9 Count those first few, 1 2 3 4, cuz songs tend to do that. Keep that going, but if you get bored, you could start doing words too. If you can’t think of any, “la-la’s” are easy go-to’s. #10 Realize now, that there’s an axe in front of you, and your hand really wants to grab it. So do it! Now that you’ve got it, you’ve got no choice but to play a song.”

“Texas ‘24” (April ’24)
“This work was printed with organic material I picked up, coincidentally and awkwardly, on Earth Day in 2024 (take my word for it that the plants were already uprooted). During that year, #1 I just really missed the earth of Texas, and #2 it was the hottest year on record (as most passing years tend to be). Filled with love for my home and fear of losing it to the disasters catalyzed by climate change, I created this quilt as a preservation of the natural world as I experience it now. Furthermore, the form of a blanket serves as a familiar comfort for fear, dread, and sadness–in this case, for the inevitable loss of home.”
“Weapon (Use as Needed, But Return Afterward)” (September ’22)
Any man ever piss you off? Thirty-pound spike ball!!! This was shown at the Gallatin Arts Festival in 2024 :)
““Weapon (Use as Needed, But Return Afterward)” was created over four months and is made of white high-fire clay and wire of various gauges. The work was sculpted by forming two half spheres, attaching hollow spikes of assorted lengths to each, firing each half individually, and linking the two halves together with a combination of thick and thin wire to form a full sphere complete with a handle for easier use.”
